These two made the TV Masterchef format popular

Cooking shows have come a long way from the simple two dimensional programme’s showing you how to break eggs and make meals that will give you a heart attack. The cooking phenomenon now makes superstars out of its culinary wizards allowing them to demonstrate not only their great skills in the kitchen but also their passion for cooking.
Sure some of these cooking characters on the shows are people you would not put water on if they were to catch fire from too much Flambé action.  But that’s what the networks want, to associate with a hero and despise a villain so that their ratings go up and the ability to merchandise increases.

Never the less it’s educational and mouth watering (well most of the time) entertainment at it’s best. So which shows are the most entertaining?
